Good afternoon. I wanted to know if you can hide the white squares at the center of the elements. I've looked but can not find the preferences option. They are very annoying visually.

you find this in the menu

Optionen / options
Bildschirm / Screen
Divers / others

fifth option from the bottom.

"Anwählpunkte der Symbole (kleine Rechtecke) anzeigen" may be translated to "Show symbol handles (small rectangles)"
