maybe it is a specific track that causes the problem especially with your card and drivers.
Sorry, but I have no good idea.

I can not help you if it is a problem with the card/driver. But I think it is.

Maybe I can help you, if you iterate on your above mentioned "track circuit" the track that is the "bad" one.
"bad" means: it does not work with it and it works without it.

Sorry for the delay, I was outside home and couldn't check it before.

I have tried unchecking those options and... it doesn't work

I'm using Win 8 64bits with ATI HD5950 (last Catalyst drivers), and I don't know what could happen

High details and everything else turned on
Win 7x64 with ATI HD 6890 Raedeon (ATI Driver) /Aero Desktop on
Everything OK, no problems

3D-view and then no 3d-view:
maybe you changed something in the layout?

try the following:
go to menu options | screen | 3d-view.
Uncheck the options
- High detailing of terrain,
- draw textures and ties,
- show 3d text.

One more thing...

I can view the symbols in 3D in the "Symbol Selection Window", rotating them, zoom them and so on...

But 3D view doesn't work

I had this problem few weeks ago with my original WinTrack (10 version). So I tried to install WinTrack 11 demo, and... surprise! it worked in 3D with the same layouts that doesn't work in my 10 version. My temporary solution was: I work with 10 version, save it and see the 3D with the 11 one...

But, few days ago, it stopped working also in 11 version. Even I tried to see older saved files of my layout and it doesn't work now

And I have not changed anything in my ATI drivers since it worked to now that it doesn't. Last week I have installed the last ATI drivers for my graphics card, uninstall and reinstall WinTrack 10 (and 11 demo)... 3D doesn't work.

So, I'm very frustrated and don't know how to proceed

I do also think, that there is a problem with your driver.
But that helps you nothing.
What you can do is to find out what symbol causes the problem in your driver (with only a few tracks it works!).
Then we can try to find a work around.

Of course, it is a hard work for you:
take the layout with the problem. You have to find the "bad" symbol.
You can do this by deleting more and more symbols/tracks until it works. The last symbol you delete before it works is the "bad" symbol.

Before you try this you can send me your layout-file to check if it works on my system.

It works with "Show up from layout shell", but not with "Show complete".

If I use only 1-2 tracks, it works with "Show complete".

I suppose it's a problem with the graphics card drivers or any dll or whatever, but I don't know... I have tried with all ATI Catalyst options but nothing happens.

it seems to be a problem with your graphics driver.
Is it depend to what layout you want to view in 3d?
Is there also a problem if you start a new layout and place only one track on it?

I've tried to install the last ATI drivers, to activate/deactivate OpenGL acceleration but nothing happens. When I click to have the 3D, it appears quickly a 0-100% in the bottom bar (3 times with a blank screen) and, after that, the 3D screen is closed without any message

So, I don't know how to proceed.

Ich habe versucht, die letzten ATI-Treiber zu installieren, zu aktivieren / deaktivieren OpenGL-Beschleunigung, aber es passiert nichts. Wenn ich auf die 3D haben, scheint es, schnell eine 0-100% in der unteren Leiste (3-mal mit einem leeren Bildschirm), und danach wird die 3D-Bildschirm ohne Meldung geschlossen: cry:

Also, ich weiß nicht, wie es weitergehen.

Hi Jose,
If Wintrack works well in former times, but not yet, this cannot be a problem of Wintrack (3D).
Wintrack needs Open-GL, so have a look of your graphic adapter (ATI), if there is everything right.
