Hello,
please write in English if possible.
What is the problem with the file names?
Why do you want to open them in the 3D-Editor?
A "normal" user do not have to open them.
Yes, you can insert a jpg-picture.
You can do it with menu "Einfügen | Bild/Skizze".
best regards

Hello,
i will try to write you in englisch.
I have been a new user of Wintrack (v 17.0 3d) and the Editor since December 2024.
I find it difficult if I only see unclear file names via open menu in the Editor and I don't know what they are.
You have to open the file and use F5 to see the 3D version.
Couldn't this be done a little better?
This problem of course also occurs in track planning when you want to add a model.
Is it possible to add a jpeg image of the file in the near fuwhen you releasing a update?
Perhaps this has been discussed before, but I cannot find it directly in the Forum.
(Dutch translated bij Google translator. A fine option.)

Hello,
maybe there is a missunderstanding.
Why do you want to open it in der 3d-editor?
You do not have to "import" a 3D-model before using it!
You can use every model by inserting it from the track selection window!
best regards

Mr. Schneider,
It's very simple.
I want to search via images and not via unclear file names.
with regards

search and choose your model in the "track selection window".
That is the easierst way.
